Abel Kipsang has won both 1500 meters in the Diamond League this year, and took command behind the hare from the start. But when the hare gave up and the youngest Ingebrigtsen took command, the pace dropped and record time was no longer an option. Still, no one was able to follow Ingebrigtsen and after it was called for the last round, Ingebrigtsen slipped away from Cheruiyot and ran in to a superior victory.
