14 February 2023 at 17:03 Man dies in ski center accident – At 14.29 we received a report of an accident on one of the slopes at Geilo ski center. There has been a collision between two skiers, one of whom, a man in his 70s, was unfortunately confirmed dead on the spot by a doctor. This is what Marius Fosvold at the police operations center tells news. The police have blocked off the descent area in question and tactical and technical investigations are being carried out at the scene. The other party to the accident was a young boy in his teens. He was first taken to the emergency room for health care, and then transported to hospital with unknown extent of damage. The next of kin have been notified.
