Einar Idland in Dizzie Tunes has died – news Vestfold and Telemark – Local news, TV and radio

– It was very painful what happened now, says former band colleague Tor Erik Gunstrøm to news. Gunstrøm and Idland were band members in the revue group Dizzie Tunes. Idland was a guitarist there from 1959-2001. Idland was 79 years old. – He was a good musician and a joy-spreader. We had several orchestras before we started with Dizzie Tunes, he says. He says his friend’s death came upon him suddenly. – We spoke three days ago. We have a small club in Skien called the Friday club. There are 10–15 of us who chat and solve world problems, says Gunstrøm. Laughter on stage Yngvar Numme refers to Idland as a person full of humour. – He even laughed on stage. We had to occasionally ask him not to laugh, it was the audience who was supposed to laugh. According to Numme, he was also a person who took the work of writing a revue seriously. – He practiced steadily and composed music as well.
