June 20, 2022 at 13:56 VG: does not enter Turkey with ID card On June 15, Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt (Labor Party) agreed with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavusoglu that Turkey accepts national ID cards instead of Norwegian passports until 2022. Now VG reports that a Norwegian does not enter the country with an ID card. – This is a scheme that has not yet been implemented and thus only passports can still be used when entering Turkey. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon entry into Turkey, the police write to VG.
