Ihlebæk will not say anything about why the man does not want to be questioned. The lawyer has previously stated to news that his client does not understand the arrest. The police say on Monday that they will make another attempt to question both the arrested man and the two who were shot. They are investigating the case as attempted murder. Shot on open street The shooting took place outside on Klingenberggata, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Karl Johan shopping street. Police inspector Metlid stated on Sunday that the conflict appears to have started at a nightclub in Klingenberggata. On Sunday evening, she told Dagbladet that the two victims must have been at a birthday party. – There were shots in the open street. Presumably this started inside a bar, before it moved out into the street environment, where shots were fired, said task leader Magnus Strande. Operations leader Alexander Østerhaug referred to the shooting as a “targeted attack”. – All the information we have so far indicates that this was a targeted attack, and we are working on the basis that there is a conflict in a criminal environment.
