Tip from foreign intelligence The national German criminal police are said to have been investigating the terrorist suspect for several days. The German security authorities are said to have received a warning from “a friend of the secret service” that there was a danger of a chemical bomb attack, writes Bild. Before the crackdown on the suspect, there was great concern that police officers and other emergency responders would be exposed to the poisons. Plans were made to clean them up at the local fire brigade. Experts from the Robert Koch Institute were on site as advisors because of the biological and chemical hazards to the emergency services.
