It happened during a ceremony in the capital Brasilia, writes Globo. Around 300,000 people are said to have been present in the streets of Brasilia during the inauguration. Lula takes over as president from Jair Bolsonaro. Lula beat Bolsonaro by a narrow margin in the October election. 77-year-old Lula is now entering his third presidential term. He was also president from 2003 to 2011.
