In 2022, we saw the end of a pandemic, and the start of an invasion. Here at home, Norwegians were struck by terror the day before the annual celebration of pride. Several districts in Oslo saw a wave of violence that affected many young people. While countries in southern Europe were hit by record heat and drought, activists demonstrated against the Norwegian authorities’ climate policy.
