This was said by Professor Benedicte Bull at the Center for Development and Environment at the University of Oslo shortly after the election results were clear. Fear of violence on inauguration day In Brazil, there has been fear for several years that Bolsonaro will challenge the election results if he loses, and that his supporters will resort to violence. Like former US President Donald Trump, Bolsonaro already said during the election campaign that he did not trust the electoral system.
