Two short years after the “shock interview” with talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are again in front of the cameras. This time it is Netflix that has gained an exclusive insight into the couple’s life. On Monday, the streaming service released a trailer for the series, which will span six episodes. From what can be seen in the trailer, it does not seem that the Netflix special will be any less sensational than the interview with Oprah: – Nobody knows everything, but we do. Hard times for the royal house Royal house expert Trond Norén Isaksen says the series is in stark contrast to the line the late Queen Elizabeth laid down. – She spoke in front of the camera, but never to the camera. Declaration of war When the prince and duchess were interviewed by Oprah Winfrey in March 2021, they made several shocking statements. Meghan said, among other things, that she had had suicidal thoughts and they talked about poorly hidden racism at the royal house. Other experts believe the series is a piece of revenge that lacks parallel, says the tabloid newspaper Daily Mail.
