2 December 2022 at 14:25 Overturned boat in Sandnes The emergency services have received a report of an overturned boat in Strondavika in the Gandsfjorden. The police report that a person may have ended up in the sea as a result of the incident. Rescue resources are on the scene. The rescue helicopter has not yet observed a boat or people, but there are some objects in the sea that the reporter has probably seen. Edvard Middelthon in the Norwegian Central Rescue Service says the search conditions in the fjord are very good. – We searched thoroughly without finding anything. If there had been something out in the sea, we would have found it immediately. Despite this, the complainant insists that he still sees the boat in the sea. – The police are on their way to the reporter to clarify what it is he is observing, which could be mistaken for an overturned boat.
