Prior to the accident, the police tried to stop the car that ran away. It was while the car was driving away from the police that the car entered the oncoming lane and two cars collided. – One of the cars must have hit the other from behind, says operations manager Linn Andresen, in the Agder police district. According to Andresen, one of the people who was involved has injuries to his neck after the accident. The person has been taken to the emergency room. The E18 at the Langåsen junction was closed in the eastbound direction in connection with the accident. Detour is signposted via Fv. 420.
