23 November 2022 at 09:59 TV 2 dropped by PFU after messages from journalist Fredrik Græsvik TV 2 has been dropped by Press’s Professional Committee (PFU) following a complaint from financier Eirik Furuseth about what he perceived as threatening messages from a journalist. In the aftermath of the mass shooting in Oslo on 25 June, Furuseth published a post on Facebook where he criticized TV 2’s coverage of the attack. TV 2 journalist Fredrik Græsvik then sent several messages to Furuseth where, among other things, he accused Furuseth of what he perceived as racism and homophobia. The journalist then sent an e-mail to Furuseth’s employer requesting an interview about Furuseth’s alleged opinions. Furuseth believes that he has been subjected to abuse of power and harassment from a powerful media player. Both TV 2 and Græsvik apologized for the incident afterwards.
