Samsung has officially launched the stable version of One UI 8.5, its latest customization layer for Android. Currently, this version is rolling out in South Korea and is expected to reach more countries shortly.

Initial availability is for the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, with plans for the Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy S25 FE to follow soon.

How to Update to One UI 8.5

To upgrade to the new version, you’ll need to wait for it to start rolling out—expected around May 11 in various regions. To check for the update:

  1. Open your device’s settings.
  2. Select the Software Update section.
  3. Click on Download and Install to check for available updates.
