When the moon is low, it looks a little bigger. Then you see hills and ridges in the foreground, then you have a reference. Then it seems bigger. But there is one problem. Clouds on the horizon If you are a northerner and wish you could see it, the meteorologist can disappoint you twice. The cloud cover probably would not have let you see the supermoon anyway. That’s what Ingrid Berntsen, meteorologist on duty at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, says. – In Trønderlag there is not much chance of seeing it, either. The cloud cover will probably vary slightly through the night. In Western Norway you can get a glare from time to time, but there is a lot of clouds and periodic precipitation. – So it is Eastern and Southern Norway that can see it with certainty.
