While the 49cc scooters filled the streets with teenagers in the 90s and early 2000s, today’s landscape is different. Minors operating these vehicles often faced a high accident rate, leading to increased regulations. The 125 cc motorcycles have since become more popular, appealing to those who can drive them with a standard car license. Additionally, electric scooters are capturing a growing share of the market.
