The Welfare Secretariat in collaboration with Banco Bienestar has confirmed that payments for the Wellbeing Scholarships for November-December 2025 will begin on December 4. This includes beneficiaries from programs such as Benito Juárez, Rita Cetina, and Jóvenes Escribiendo el Futuro (Young People Writing the Future).

Payment Schedule

Payments will occur between December 4 and 18, with disbursements issued based on the alphabetizing method according to the initial of the beneficiaries’ first surname. It is crucial for recipients to stay updated through official platforms to ensure a smooth access to these funds.

Beneficiary Details

First Day of Withdrawals

Starting Thursday, December 4, individuals registered under the Young People Writing the Future program will be eligible to collect their payments. The National Coordinator of Scholarships for Wellbeing, Julio César León Trujillo, emphasized the importance of these scholarships in providing students with opportunities for their future.

Those with surnames beginning with the letters “A” and “B” will receive their payments first.

Future Payment Dates

The payment schedule is as follows:

  • December 4: Surnames A and B
  • December 5: Surname C
  • December 8: Surnames D, E, and F
  • December 9: Surname G
  • December 10: Surnames H, I, J, K, and L
  • December 11: Surname M
  • December 15: Surnames N, Ñ, O, P, and Q
  • December 16: Surname R
  • December 17: Surname S
  • December 18: Surnames T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z

This systematic approach is designed to expedite the payment process and minimize crowding at payment sites.

Scholarship Amounts

The amount of financial support varies by program:

  • Rita Cetina Scholarship: 1,900 pesos for the two-month period with an additional 700 pesos for each extra student in public secondary school.
  • Benito Juárez Scholarship: For high school students in public schools, the payment is also 1,900 pesos every two months.
  • Young People Writing the Future Scholarship: Higher education students will receive 5,800 pesos throughout the ten-month school year.

Goals of the Wellbeing Scholarships

The Wellbeing Scholarships initiative led by the Government of Mexico aims to ensure educational continuity among young individuals across the nation. According to the Secretary of Welfare, by the end of 2025, over 12 million students will have benefited, indicating a significant investment by the government to support educational opportunities.
