OPPO is back on track. After launching the OPPO Find X8 Pro last year, a terminal whose camera we loved, the Chinese firm did not want to let the month of October pass without renewing its catalog with the OPPO Find X9 and Find X9 Pro . They are, as it could not be otherwise, two devices that aspire to the throne of the most premium high-end Android and that, to no one’s surprise, bet everything on the camera.
The biggest differences between both models are in the screen and in the photographic section. The most striking thing is, once again, the zoom and the battery. OPPO has been betting on silicon-carbon batteries for some time and in its new models it has not skimped on milliamp hours: both terminals exceed 7,000 mAh capacity. That being said, let’s get to know them a little better.

A Renewed Design, Although Equally Striking

If last year we had a huge circular module at the back and flat edges, the OPPO Find X9 returns to the origins with a rectangular module in the corner and straighter frames similar to what we see in other smartphones. The module protrudes noticeably from the chassis, as does the new Snap Key. On the right side, there is the Quick Button to quickly launch the camera and zoom.
Both devices are relatively similar in size, although the Pro model is somewhat thicker and heavier. However, the weight is around 200-220 grams, which is a reasonable sacrifice considering the batteries of more than 7,000 mAh. All this is accompanied by resistance certifications that leave no loose end: IP66, IP68 and IP69 .

Regarding the screen, both devices incorporate ProXDR AMOLED panels with a 20:9 format. They share a large part of the technical specifications, namely resolution and brightness levels, although the Pro model excels in several aspects, such as refresh rate and PWM Dimming.
MediaTek Returns to the Engine

OPPO and MediaTek collaborate once again with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, crafted in three nanometers and capable of reaching 4.21 GHz . It features the OPPO Trinity Engine , significantly improving performance and power consumption, achieving up to 16.1% reduction during video recording.
This system is paired with 12 GB of RAM in the standard model and 16 GB in the Pro version, both running on UFS 4.1 storage , ensuring rapid data access speeds.

The main advantage of these models lies in their silicon-carbon batteries , allowing for capacities over 7,000 mAh without compromising thickness. OPPO asserts these batteries will retain 80% of their capacity after five years, with charging capabilities reaching up to 80W wired and 50W wirelessly.
The 200 Megapixel Zoom Arrives

One of the standout features of the OPPO Find X9 series is the camera system. The Pro model features a 200-megapixel sensor in the periscope, boosting capabilities significantly. It also supports three times optical zoom and can achieve 120x digital zoom, assisted by AI technology.
The standard model retains the multi-camera setup of the previous generation. However, it’s the Pro model that pushes boundaries with its True Color camera , enhancing color accuracy in photographs.
Versions and Price of the OPPO Find X9 and Find X9 Pro

The OPPO Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will be available starting November 6 in the company’s official store and in usual retailers, with prices as follows:
- OPPO Find X9 (12/512 GB): 999 euros.
- OPPO Find X9 Pro (16/512 GB): 1,299 euros.
