17 October 2022 at 12:01 Ulf Kristersson prime minister in Sweden A majority of the members of the Riksdag have voted for Ulf Kristersson to take office as prime minister. Sweden will thus have its first bourgeois government in eight years. Kristersson announced on Friday that a government agreement had been reached between his party the Moderates, the Christian Democrats and the Liberals. The government must have close cooperation with the Sweden Democrats. The four parties have a narrow majority in the Riksdag of 176 against 173 mandates. (NTB)
