The Constitutional Court of Peru has issued a ruling that demands the immediate release of Betssy Chávez, the former minister of ex-President Pedro Castillo. In a follow-up statement, Noblecilla provided insights into Chávez’s health status , informing the public that she had been admitted to the María Auxiliadora Hospital due to severe complications linked to dehydration and heart issues. He indicated, “She was in a critical state and required urgent care.” After a brief medical intervention, Chávez showed signs of temporary improvement but continued her protest , emphasizing her determination.
The Constitutional Court’s decision highlighted that Betssy Chávez had been arbitrarily detained for eight days, as the duration of her preventive detention had exceeded legal limits.
