4 October 2022 at 13:06 The electricity price plummets tomorrow The average electricity price for southern Norway will be 52.8 øre per kWh tomorrow. It is 153 øre lower than the same price for today and the lowest since the end of May. It appears on the home pages of the power exchange Nordpool. In Central and Northern Norway, the same price will be 30.9 and 24.5 øre, respectively. The government’s electricity subsidy scheme is kicking in as the monthly average price is over 70 øre per kWh. If the monthly average price were to be at tomorrow’s price level, the scheme would therefore not be implemented.
