The tragic finding of the body of Harold Aroca García , a 16-year-old boy from Bogotá, has raised deep concerns and sparked reactions from various sectors of society, including the city’s Mayor, Carlos Fernando Galán . Harold had been reported missing since August 5 , and was found in a wooded area in the Los Laches neighborhood of the Santa Fe locality, with clear signs of violence.

However, the family’s worst fears materialized when they organized a vigil, subsequently discovering Harold’s lifeless body just meters away from a purported safe zone.
