27 September 2022 at 01:19 Nasa: Successful asteroid collision The Nasa satellite Dart has hit the asteroid Dimorphos as planned, reports the American space agency Nasa. The aim of the planned collision is to find out if asteroids’ orbits can be changed, so that Earth can be protected from future collisions with asteroids headed for our planet. The clash is described as successful and historic. According to Nasa, they will now calculate how much they have possibly managed to change the asteroid’s orbit. It will probably be ready next week, according to Dr. Nancy Chabot in Nasa.
