The backdrop for the demonstration was the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini. She died in custody after being arrested by Iran’s morality police, allegedly for improperly wearing a hijab. According to Iranian police, Amini died of a heart attack. The family of the 22-year-old denies that she had heart problems, writes NTB. The organization is based in Oslo, Norway.
