According to the Defense Forces (IDF), the attacks on Monday targeted ground-to-ground missile sites in central Iran and command centers of the Quds Force—the external operations arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard—located in Tehran. Images released by regime media showed plumes of smoke rising over military installations, while the Iranian Health Ministry confirmed new casualties and structural damages.
The Revolutionary Guards called their strikes against Israel “effective and devastating operations” and warned that they would continue to strike “vital targets” if Israel maintained its offensive. In response, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated: “The residents of Tehran will pay the price, and soon,” which was interpreted as a direct warning of further retaliations against the Iranian capital.
Meanwhile, in the affected cities, Israeli emergency teams were working tirelessly among the rubble to locate possible survivors and transport the injured. In Tel Aviv, several residential buildings were destroyed and dozens of vehicles were charred.
