Israel Launches Preventive Strike Against Iran’s Nuclear Program

Israel initiated a preventive strike against Iran with dozens of aircraft bombarding key nuclear facilities early on Friday morning.

Meanwhile, alarms rang out in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, among other cities, signaling possible retaliation by the regime of the ayatollahs.

“The public is asked to follow the instructions of the IDF Home Front Command, which will be updated as necessary, and to act calmly and responsibly. The IDF and relevant authorities are prepared for a wide range of scenarios, both defensive and offensive, that may be required,” an official statement reported.

The Israeli airspace is now closed: all flights scheduled to leave today from Ben Gurion International Airport have been suspended.

This is the first time Israel has launched a direct attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. In previous instances, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had targeted aerial installations or military bases, but this military operation is extraordinary.

With the sun yet to rise in Israel, authorities continue to urge the population to stay indoors and prepare to move to safe locations in the event of an airstrike.

“Every citizen must know the safest space in their environment. When an alert is issued, they should enter the protected spaces and remain there until an official announcement states it is safe to leave,” declared Major General Rafi Milo, head of Israel’s Home Front Command.

He added, “Movements must be minimized. We are facing intense and complex days ahead. We are strong and prepared to safeguard and defend the State of Israel,” he continued.

In the early morning hours (Israeli time), Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a public message to explain the scope and military significance of the attack on Iran.

We defend the free world from the terrorism and barbarism that Iran promotes and exports around the globe,” stated the Prime Minister in his recorded message.
