Thunderstorms Sweep Across Bavaria
Update from June 6, 07:05 PM: Currently, the warnings from the DWD for severe thunderstorms are in effect in the following districts:

According to DWD, thunderstorms are moving in from the southwest. “Expect gusts of wind reaching up to 70 km/h and heavy rain with amounts of about 15 l/m² per hour and small hail.”
Weather Warnings Continue Across Bavaria
Update from June 6, 06:40 PM: The DWD has also issued a warning for the Schwandorf district until 07:00 PM regarding severe thunderstorms.
Sweltering Storm and Rain Expected
Initial report from June 6, 01:37 PM: Munich – The weather in Bavaria is restless. Following heavy storms on June 4 that caused significant damage, thunderstorms are keeping residents on alert. As Pfingstferien commence, new storms with heavy rainfall are imminent. The DWD has also issued a storm warning.
Varied Weather This Pfingsten: Temperatures Drop
As Pfingsten approaches, temperatures are predicted to drop. By June 8, the DWD forecasts a maximum temperature between 16 to 19 degrees Celsius across Bavaria. Saturday is expected to see rainfall throughout the entire state, particularly heavier in the southeastern regions.
The Pfingstsonntag (June 9) will also be rainy, especially south of the Danube, with additional rain clouds moving in from the northwest throughout the day. Thunderstorms are also a possibility again.
However, Pfingstmontag promises to be brighter, with sunshine bathing over Bavaria and temperatures rising to 21 degrees Celsius. (jr)
