Stood close together A total of five cars are involved in the accident. The accident is said to have occurred when the military vehicles stopped for a red light inside the tunnel. The civilian car is said to have hit the military vehicles from behind. Two of the military vehicles are not drivable. – The vehicles were close together, so that they all ended up in the same collision. That shouldn’t happen. Now it has unfortunately happened, says Solbakken. Four tunnels closed The task force was on its way down from an exercise on Mjølfjell when the accident happened. A total of 200 people took part in the exercise. Everyone is on their way down from the mountain on Thursday afternoon. The Kjenes tunnel is located between Dale and Trengereid on the E16 in Vaksdal. The Jamna Tunnel, the Stavenes Tunnel and the Trengereid Tunnel on the E16 are closed as a result of the accident. The emergency services are on the scene. Car parks have been ordered. Bjørn West is one of fifteen task forces in the Home Guard. It is the regional task force in Western Norway. The task force is based at Bergenhus fortress in Bergen.
