The married couple who borrowed more than NOK 6 million from Sparebank 1 SMN have entered into a settlement with the bank. This is confirmed by the couple’s lawyer, Ingvild Tennebø. Despite the fact that the couple had a combined income of around NOK 500,000, they got a number of loans from the bank. The couple claimed during the trial last week that they did not receive a signal from the bank adviser that they should not take out the loan. Tennebø will not say anything about the content of the settlement.
