As a politician, Frp leader Sylvi Listhaug has apparently gone through a major transformation. Many, both inside and outside Frp, thought she would make the party a narrow right-wing-conservative party that cared most about immigration and anti-woke. So mistakes could be taken under Listhaug’s leadership, Frp has almost reached old heights, and Glimt has been Norway’s largest party on the measurements. Everything is not the party leader’s merit, although she has surprised many of the critics. From appearing as divisive, provocative and self -sufficient, today she exudes a completely different pragmatism. To call her unifying is to go a long way, but there is significantly longer between those she is excited. Where she previously seemed deliberately provocative, she now has a completely different fingertip for where the boundaries go – without losing either the naughty or the tea for what’s going on. It is probably both a greater security, but also that she has embraced the role of party leader. Emerging breed Now it’s not just Listhaug who has been through a style change. A former party leader said that found Frp was like putting out a barn lamp in the summer night. Then came a lot of strange flying. But it is much less strange, original or sensational to hear from Frp’s pulpit today. On the other hand, there are deputy mayors, local politicians and well -dressed men and women. Even Høyre’s national meeting delegates look small-lined against the Frp’s. Fjøslykt-Frp has become an extinct and worthy breed. Associate Professor Listhaug her transformation is not just about form. Previously, she was perceived as a single -case politician with particular interest in immigration. Now it is probably the picture unfair to someone who has been both Minister of Agriculture and Health Council in Oslo. Just as fully, she is now associated with a wider range of cases, from climate and crime to elderly care and health. Lately, she has marked herself as a school politician, of the strict variety that oozes discipline, level sharing, chalkboard and recovery in the principal’s office. Prior to the national meeting, she surprised to demand the Minister of Knowledge, an area Frp has very little ownership of. It probably got more in the classic school parties Right and Left to put the coffee in the throat. Evil tongues often refer to Frp as an anti-knowledge party, and now they are going into the stronghold of knowledge. And it is hardly better that she partially blames the right for the “misery” in Norwegian school. Civil reason -sized marriage But strictly speaking, they should be happy that Listhaug is talking about a new government at all. Because in the Right circuits it has long been feared that Listhaug would rather protest than rule. They have also been annoyed at the Frp leader’s repeated attack on the Right, which she has said has become too similar to the Ap. Listhaug has largely refused to participate in joint play. Getting her in a group picture with the bourgeois party leaders Erna Solberg, Guri Melby and Dag Inge Ulstein is almost more difficult than making her say the word “battery factory” with love. This is probably due to as much strategy where they would rather not be associated with parties that may be offensive to potential Frp voters. By the way, it did not come as much as a small stab to the other non-socialist parties during her national assembly speech. It is probably the closest they can wait for a declaration of love from Listhaug before the election. The phenomenon of Listhaug shows that the old Greeks had something to do. As Heraklit said: Everything flows. It is not possible to descend into the same river twice. Both the river and we are another. For Listhaug version 2.0, naturally, has been important for lifting Frp. However, what is crucial that the party hit the clock on the spirit of the time and the new right wave. Many parties have approached Frp in cases such as climate policy, crime and immigration. Things that Listhaug a few years ago would shut up to say has now become a daily speech. Trump’s paradox Therefore, it is a paradox that it is precisely the very symbol of the right -wing reindeer in the world, Donald Trump, who put a sudden stop for Frp’s adventurous growth in the New Year. It is not so many years since critics and political opponents compared Listhaug with some kind of Norway’s response to Trump. The unpredictable world that has come with Trump has meant that voters in many countries have sought security and gone to the parties that govern. He is not a good advertising poster for the right side either. But first and foremost, Trump has taken all oxygen in the room, which makes little attention left for small and large political issues that are closer to people’s everyday lives. And wallet. It loses not least Frp on. Hope, also for the sake of the election, is a more normal world where people are again concerned with the close things, such as taxes, schools and nursing homes. An entirely different question is whether voters then still believe that Frp has the best answers. For everything flows, as is well known. And little floats faster than Norwegian voters.
