The rape suspect had a hidden camera in the “sex room” in the house – news Trøndelag

The man is accused of raping five women. The police are still investigating whether six other women have been subjected to abuse from the accused. He has told about “rough sex”, but that the women were involved. Women were secretly filmed in the “sex room” The suspect in his 40s has extensive camera surveillance both outside and inside his house in Trondheim. Sikta said in the prison meeting on Friday that he has visible cameras in almost every room. 6,700 video files, with a playing time of 1,100 hours, were found on storage units that the police seized early in the case. Although the police have not gone through the entire video material yet, there is a lot to indicate that the majority of the videos are from what the police have called the “sex room”. Aim to point out that the amount of video is not unnatural, since there were so many cameras that “stood and walked”. But in the “sex room” the five or six cameras are hidden, among other things in smoke detectors. He has previously told about his interest in sexual role-playing with dominance and submission. When asked by the prosecutor why the police have such extensive camera surveillance, the police replied that it is both to have memories of parties and to prevent break-ins. – It is revealed that what you see on the video is a sexual assault. There were often many guests in the target’s house in Trondheim. The guests could help themselves to drinks and the aim was to call the atmosphere “phenomenal” in a former prison meeting. There he also referred to “party videos”. The police have not yet gone through all the extensive recording material. But the prosecutor, police attorney Ole Andreas Aftret, believes the videos, together with explanations from the women, are important evidence in the investigation: – It is obvious that what you see on the video is a sexual assault. The question is whether this was an agreed-upon role-play, as the accused believe, pointed out the prosecutor. – The police have a rare good starting point for solving the case because of all the videos, says Aftret to news. Sikta said in the prison meeting that he has realized in retrospect that it was not good to film the women in secret. This was something he started thinking about when he was remanded in custody in April. – But the videos also help to establish the truth of what has actually happened and whether criminal matters have occurred. That’s what Erik Vatne says, one of the defenders of the scope of news. The police asked for four more weeks in custody for the accused. The danger that he will commit further assaults is present, the police believe. The prosecutor also referred to a recent forensic psychiatric examination of the accused to substantiate the danger of repetition. Sikta rejects most of what the experts have come up with so far. The case started in April after reports of party noise from his house. The police then charged him with having several illegal weapons and a small amount of drugs. That same evening, he told the police that he had had sex with a woman at the party. He was then accused of raping her. Sikta has agreed to report to the police in Trondheim every day if he is released from custody. On Friday afternoon, the Trøndelag district court decided that the accused will continue to be in custody for another four weeks. The court also refers to the declaration from the experts on the personality traits of the accused which means that he should still be in prison. In the court’s view, the declaration helps to substantiate that there is still such a high risk of repetition as the law deals with.
