Tiktok will soon be accountable to the deputies of the National Assembly. Thursday, March 13, the latter voted in session the creation of a commission of inquiry on the social network and “Psychological effects” that it produces in its minor users. Consisting of thirty parliamentarians, it has a maximum period of six months to carry out its research work and its hearings, which will ultimately have to lead to the adoption of a report submitted to the president of the National Assembly.

The creation of this commission of inquiry comes at a time. A procedure which completes a collective appeal launched in November, before the judicial court of Créteil, by seven other families with similar grievances. In these files, several adolescents ended them.
