Nicolas de Tavernost has hoped for it since July: the president of BFM RMC will soon no longer be the acting managing director. The group announced, Wednesday, March 12, having recruited Régis Ravanas, current president of the RTL, RTL2 and Fun radios, at the post inherited by the former boss of M6 in the summer of 2024. M. de Tavernost had indeed found himself invested with the function, when Arthur Dreyfuss, president of Altice France (property of Patrick Drahi), had announced his departure from the group Saadé.

If the septuagenarian will erase from the group’s operational management to the arrival of Mr. Ravanas (the date of taking office is not yet known), he will continue, as vice-president of CMA Média, to advise Rodolphe Saadé in the investment analysis that the shipowner could still do in the audiovisual. Mr. Tavernost and Mr. Ravanas know each other well for working together between 1995 and 2009 first, then from 2019 to 2024.
