Are you a committed project manager, who is also committed to counteracting apathy and contributing to increased community engagement? We look for you who both have a strategic look and are actionable – and who want to help make the world’s best news even better! As a project manager for the world’s best news (VBN), you will coordinate the project’s activities, strengthen partnership and contribute to the development of the project. Among other things, you will have primary responsibility for daily operations, find partners and donors, and carry out the cheese celebration. You will also be responsible for communication and media work, including the production of graphic and editorial content for the project’s website and social media. You will work closely with the management of the project’s owner organizations, the VBN council and partners. It has been decided that the world’s best news will be placed on tender with effect from 2026. A central task will therefore be to lead the work for the recruitment of new owners, and ensure a good transition and good knowledge transfer from current to new (s) owner (s) of the project. Some travel activities, evening and weekend work must be expected. Tasks: Responsibility for anniversary celebrations, tender processes and daily operations. Coordinate internal and external activities, including schools and meetings with potential menu owners. Establish contact and ensure knowledge transfer from current owners to new owners. Editorial responsibility for the project’s website, social media and other platforms. Produce graphic and editorial content for VBN. Communication and media work to engage the target group. Follow up and support volunteers in the world’s best news. Responsibility for applications, reporting and budget follow -up. Act as secretary of the VBN Council. Desired qualifications and characteristics: Experience from project management, preferably in communication, campaigns or similar. Experience with bidding processes and recruitment of owners and partners is an advantage experience with graphic design and content production is an advantage. Good communication skills, both orally and in writing. Experience with media work and follow -up of volunteers. Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with a dedicated team. Structured, enterprising and purposeful, with high execution ability.
