The cryptocurrency Bitcoin reached a new peak price on Monday morning of more than 106,000 dollars. The price increase came after US President-elect Donald Trump hinted that he plans to establish strategic crypto reserves in the US, similar to the country’s strategic oil reserves. Bitcoin is the world’s largest and best-known cryptocurrency. It reached a top price of 106,533 dollars on Monday morning, just under NOK 1.2 million. (NTB)
