SV profile Kari Elisabeth Kaski is stepping down from the group board of the SV in the Storting. She also changes committees, from the finance committee to the business committee. – I have not had good working conditions, and therefore I have asked to change committees and step out of the group board, says Kaski. She was called in sick on 7 November, right after SV presented its alternative budget. Thus it was not her, but deputy leader Torgeir Knag Fylkesnes who led SV’s negotiations on the state budget with the governing parties. Kaski has not applied for re-election to the Storting and is thus finished in top Norwegian politics next autumn. – As a representative for Oslo, it will be important for me to do a good job for the city and the residents here, and to do a good job for the whole of SV, in the months that are left of the parliamentary term. I am passionate about green and fair transition, and look forward to working even more closely on it in the industry committee, she says.
