The government proposes to give at least NOK 30 billion in support to Ukraine next year. It is clear after a meeting between the government and the opposition at the Storting on Tuesday. – We want Norway to be a clear and leading supporter of Ukraine’s struggle for resistance. Not only militarily, but also civilly to be able to protect and build up especially electricity capacity and power supply, said Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (Ap). The government had proposed to set aside 15 billion for Ukraine in the state budget for 2025, but the opposition believes this is far too little. After the meeting in the Storting on Tuesday, the government increased its proposal to NOK 30 billion.
