The Norwegian Meteorological Institute has issued a yellow warning for large amounts of snow in several places in the country, the worst of which will come in Troms and Finnmark. – Many people in Troms and Finnmark will probably get around 30 centimeters of snow, and in some places it can reach 40-60 centimeters, state meteorologist Eldbjørg Moxnes told news on Thursday. The storm has already led to a number of closed roads in the northernmost part of the country, as well as convoy driving and several mountain passes. – In the north, there will also be a good deal of wind in combination with snow. Then there may be local snow squalls and somewhat difficult conditions. So check road reports and stay up-to-date on weather warnings, Moxnes continued. Beyond Friday, it is expected that the weather will pick up, and that Troms will also be hit by the storm to a greater extent.
