3 December 2022 at 04:32 35 cats suffered eye damage from urine vapor A man in his 60s from Østfold must appear in court in Østfold in mid-December, accused of gross mistreatment of 35 cats. The animals lived in rubbish and faeces, and suffered eye damage from ammonia vapors from cat urine, reports the Nation. The conditions for which the man is charged were discovered in November 2017, i.e. more than five years ago. In the man’s home, 35 cats were found, locked in two rooms with clutter, rubbish and large amounts of cat faeces. The case starts in Follo and Nordre Østfold District Court on 15 December, and the court has set aside a day for the case.
