19-year-old died in a traffic accident in Namsos – news Trøndelag

The emergency services were notified of the accident at 23.08 on Friday. It was one of those in the car who alerted. The car had driven off county road 7068 in the far north of Otterøya – approximately 35 kilometers from the center of Namsos. – This is a straight stretch with an 80 kilometer limit, so it is considered a high-energy accident, says police operations manager Ole Petter Hollingen to news. The fellow passengers tried to save lives While the emergency services were on their way to the scene of the accident, the fellow passengers performed CPR on the 19-year-old who was most seriously injured. Medical personnel who arrived also performed life-saving measures, but the young man was eventually confirmed dead. – The other four were taken to Namsos Hospital with minor to moderate injuries, says Hollingen. The next of kin have been notified. Don’t know the cause The deceased 19-year-old was a passenger in the car. The other four men were in their 20s. According to the operations manager, it was the fire service that first arrived at the scene of the accident – less than half an hour after the report was received.
