The police were notified at 10.10pm on Monday evening about an incident near a district heating plant in Gravensgade in Hjallerup. Police and ambulance rushed to the scene, and found the young girl badly injured. The girl was declared dead after a short time, North Jutland’s police state in a press release. The young girl’s relatives have been notified. The police have control over two people. which the police believe has something to do with the case. North Jutland’s police also state that they are present with large resources in the area at the waterworks and Idræts Alle. They are asking people to stay away from the area. In a press release sent out a few hours later, the police state that the two suspects are a 17-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl. – We know that there is a relationship between the person killed and the two arrested, but at the moment we cannot comment on the motive for the murder. We will investigate the matter thoroughly and uncover the entire course of events, says Acting Deputy Police Inspector Mads Hessellund, who is leading the investigation, in the press release. Hjallerup is a small town with around 4,400 inhabitants north of Ålborg.
