26 December 2023 at 15:07 12 people involved in an accident on the E18 Five cars and 12 people are involved in an accident on the E18 near Nedenes on the border between Arendal and Grimstad. The accident occurred in a westbound direction towards Kristiansand, the police in Agder inform. According to operations manager Øyvind Hægeland, two people have been taken by ambulance to the hospital in Arendal. Six of those involved are completely unharmed. Traffic is at a standstill in the westbound lane. Car owners have been notified and two cars are not drivable, the police write on X at 15.13. The Road Traffic Center recommends an alternative route via county road 420.
