28 February 2024 at 07:00 Student survey: 10 per cent experience bullying The number of students who experience being bullied continues to increase. This shows the results from this year’s Student Survey. Taken together for all grades from 5th grade to upper secondary, 10 per cent of pupils say they experience bullying. There are small differences between boys and girls, but from 5th grade to 10th grade there is a greater proportion of girls who experience bullying. When asked if the school did anything to help you, 36.3 per cent of those exposed to bullying replied that no adults at the school knew about it. The survey shows that bullying decreases with age. More people are bullied at primary school than at upper secondary school.
